The major update coming for Universe 3 includes a bunch of new features that aims to balance the game. All features will be available on all universes.
As stated before, Motherships are suffering a major rework. You will be able to equip multiple modules depending of how many slots your ship has available. All players starts with a hull that has 1 slot of each type, but you can find another hulls through events or create with special resources found in fights, debris or expeditions.
Quests on Expedition
Similar to Enigmatic Fortress event, and as major request by many players, we are including quests with decisive choices on the galaxy. Each quest has decisive choices and may cost the life of your ships. For that, we have renamed the Dark Matter Collector ship into Archeologist. These "expeditional" quests grants your numerous rewards, from Officiers to unique new ships and modules.
A new choice for players to trade their resources and fleet rather than using the default ones by the game. On Galatic Market, you can sell your ships or fleets for any price. The buyer pays the price and a amount of dark matter generated by the resources involved on the trade. The seller receives a small portion of it.
All english language strings on Stellaron has been added into language files. So if you'd like to translate Stellaron content and win in-game rewards, this is your moment.
The stars till Universe 3 were purely cosmetic to Galaxy View with random generated bonus production. On this update (not affecting existing stars on Uni 1 and 2), the star type will have huge influence on how your planet will produce, build and terraform. Cooler stars will give more Deuterium, but the planets will be cooler and may increase time to build, while hotter stars produces more Metal and build cost may be increased to 5%. Stars may be changed through Dyson Sphere, but there are risks!
Relics are a new building/technology category only obtainable on Expeditions or Quests. For each quest complete, you may receive an unique relic that will affect positively your empire or planet.
Statistics by points may not be the best way to show how experienced you are in Stellaron. This time, we will include a Medal system for your in-game deeds. Those medals will be resetted each two weeks and players receive rewards depending how many they have.
We plan to add more events PvE for all type of players. An example of event will be a target where all alliance members should join together. Other will be a crisis event that will harass a whole galaxy where players should fight together to defend it. Can you show your loyalty to your mates?
Old guardians has gone (Stellarite, Dragon and Dreadnought). We present you fallen Guardians from races discovered by our ancestors ages ago. We are talking about Goa'uld, Ori, Asuan and others! These guardians will roam around the galaxy. While Stellarite, Dragon or Dreadnought had fixed events (i.e., you knew Dreadnough would demolish planets if he wins), this time Guardians will have completely unexpected random events, such a basic attack, destroy fields or buildings, reduce resource production and many more. Of course, if you win, a well deserved award will be waiting for you. More guardians = more modules!
Due to this change, Stellarite, Dragon and Dreadnought modules can not be dropped anymore. They will have "Legacy" tag on Universe 1 and 2, while it will not be available on Universe 3.
